1. Description

• The reference index refers to the Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index. For more information, please visit: https://investmentstrategies.citi.com/indice/CIMAGD5U/34/2

• The Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index provides exposure to developed markets, including the United States, Europe and Japan, to enhance diversification and increase opportunities to generate investment returns. The Index allocates investments across equities, government bonds, corporate debt instruments and commodities, and dynamically adjusts asset allocation according to global market conditions in order to increase returns and reduce risk or volatility.

• As the Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index is denominated in U.S. Dollars, the Company will convert the Index performance into Thai Baht based on the foreign exchange rate between the Initial Valuation Date and the Final Valuation Date. The exchange rate is referenced from the Bank of Thailand website: https://www.bot.or.th/th/statistics/exchange-rate.html

For the Initial Valuation Date, the USD Selling Rate will be applied.

• The Company will invest in the reference index within 45 days from the life insurance policy issuance date and will determine the Final Index Value within 45 days prior to the policy maturity date.

• If the Final Valuation Date falls on a non-business day as announced by the index provider, the Final Valuation Date will be postponed to the next business day or another date in accordance with the terms and conditions of the underlying investment instrument.

1. Does Global Saving Plus 15/8 with returns based on reference index (Index-Linked) provide principal protection?

Global Saving Plus 15/8 with returns based on reference index (Index-Linked) provides protection of the principal or premiums paid by the policyholder. If the policyholder remains insured until the end of the policy term, the Company guarantees total benefits throughout the policy term of 815% of the sum assured, consisting of annual cash benefits and the maturity benefit. This guaranteed amount exceeds the total premiums paid by the policyholder, ensuring that the policyholder does not lose their principal.

In addition, the policyholder will also have the opportunity to receive an additional maturity return based on the performance of the Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index.

2. What are the risks associated with the returns of Global Saving Plus 15/8 with returns based on reference index (Index-Linked)?

The returns calculated based on the Citi Grandmaster RC 5 Index are subject to the following risks:

1) Market Risk – Returns may fluctuate according to changes in the level of the reference index.

2) Foreign Exchange Risk – As the reference index is denominated in U.S. Dollars, returns are exposed to fluctuations in the exchange rate between the Thai Baht and the U.S. Dollar.

However, the policyholder will continue to receive all guaranteed policy benefits and the maturity benefit in full, subject to the policy terms and conditions. Such guaranteed benefits are not exposed to Market Risk or Foreign Exchange Risk, as they are not affected by fluctuations in the reference index level or exchange rates.
